This speechwriter whistles while he works
Do you listen to music when you write?
I can’t do it, but speechwriter Matt Greenough, managing director at Words Matter, says he has used music to charge his prose.
“For something with a bit of passion, I'll often reach for the Manics …. Anything technical required something classical, perhaps to convince myself I was clever enough to be tackling whatever subject it was. I enjoyed including some Idles lyrics (with credit) in a recent speech.”
