PSA offers Military Speechwriting Training—finally
Do you know where military speechwriters come from?
Usually they get thrown into their jobs with zero experience, often based merely on high writing scores on aptitude tests.
Like the bad-asses they are, they swim far more frequently than they sink.
But speechwriting doesn’t have to be a dive into the deep end, which is why Pentagon speechwriters Rosemary King and Sue Ross, and PSA executive director David Murray, are teaching a two-day Military Speechwriting Training at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Nov. 14-15.
We expect this to become a regular event to get new recruits trained up on speechwriting and hooked up with their new speechwriting colleagues across the DoD.
Please forward this to anyone who ought to know.
