Today I want to talk about a particular dilemma that my industry has-its reputation. While it is true that Novartis is the #1 ranked pharmaceutical company among Fortune's 'most admired' companies, the industry in total suffers from a relatively poor reputation in general, and I want to discuss why that is.
But first, let's start with Novartis. We aspire to be the world's most successful and respected health care company. It's an extraordinary goal, and our values are guiding us toward it. I'm excited to tell you about it today, and I'd also like to ask your advice about achieving this goal. It's a fact that this industry that has serious reputation problems, and our success depends on improving it. So, let me start by asking you three questions.
