Vital Speeches of the Day convenes...
LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATION DAYS
An Intimate Gathering of Executive Communication Professionals…
hosted by Pfizer’s director of leadership communications Grant Neely…
moderated by Vital Speeches editor David Murray…
…and all about you.
On October 14 and 15, Vital Speeches of the Day will hold "Leadership Communication Days," a collegial and purposeful meeting of executive communication managers, senior speechwriters and others dedicated to helping leaders lead.
Over two days at Pfizer's headquarters in midtown Manhattan, participants will have the chance to share their biggest successes, hear from their most forward-thinking peers, ask advice for their most pressing problems and help one another solve the vexing problems only executive communicators share.
Meanwhile, during rigorous discussions and casual meetings over meals and cocktails, they'll begin to build a strong professional network among dispersed and otherwise isolated colleagues.
Agenda
♦ Day One is Best Practice day
After a keynote case-study on the future of executive communication by Pfizer, attendees will share their current best practices—what they’re doing that’s working, what they’re planning that’s exciting. The sharing of best practices will be punctuated by an informal luncheon conversation with executive communication guru Virgil Scudder.
After the long day of meetings, it’s cocktails and dinner and conversation at a comfortable place.
♦ Day Two is Problem-Solving Day
Everyone shares his or her biggest troubles and the group weighs in with suggestions. Event moderator David Murray will ground the group in the message, with his “Speechwriting Jam Session,” an inspiring and instructive series of samples from great speeches, culled from winners of the Cicero Speechwriting Awards and rhetoric history known and unknown.
The intimate event is conceived and designed to give you a chance to share your best ideas with your peers and air your biggest problems with the only people in the world who will have the answers—fellow executive communication professionals.
Benefits to You and Your Organization
♦ Best practices
You will come away from this session familiar with the very best practices in executive communication—and a good sense of how your organization stacks up against competitors’ spending, staffing and results.
♦ Fresh solutions
You’ll have new solutions to your oldest problems, and you’ll be able to tell your speaker: “There’s something new I I want to try.”
♦ A new sense of purpose
More than comforted to know you’re not alone, you’ll be reenergized by the ideas of your fellow travelers, perhaps forming a wholly new vision for executive communications in your organization.
♦ A reliable network
You’ll have a network of trustworthy people who you can always approach with the tough questions and awkward problems that only executive communicators face.
This is the only event where you get unlimited access to the only other people in the world who do what you do. Make sure you get a seat. Register today.
